You earn coins by accomplishing goals, completing challenges, and winning ranked auto-matched games. Challenges and ranked auto-match games are available when you reach level 3. You can also buy more coins by tapping on the plus sign by your total coins display at the top right of the screen.

To level up, you must earn a required number of experience points. You earn experience points by playing computer players and auto-matched online opponents. You earn more experiences points when you defeat auto-matched online opponents and higher-level computer players.

Redecorate your home and furnish it with an item that would support placing a small plant on top of it. New locations to add items may become available when some items are placed. The new locations will flash for several seconds when they appear. A house plant would like nice upon a work bench, sideboard, buffet, or a coffee table. The location to add a coffee table is only available when a couch has been furnished.

There are goals that you must complete to unlock Brett, Annie, Diego, and Helena. In addition, you must unlock the city Los Angeles before you can play Sam, Diego, and Helena.

Host a game. Tap the Invite button at an empty seat and then select the Friends tab. You can then tap to select an online friend, who will receive an invite message in her app, or an offline friend, who will receive a notification on her iPhone or iPad. You can also tap the Share Invitation button and text, email, or AirDrop a game invitation link.

To receive game invitations when you're not using the App, you must allow notifications for the Gin Rummy App and enable Game Invite Notifications within the Gin Rummy App. To allow notifications, go to the Settings App, tap Gin Rummy, tap Notifications, and ensure that Allow Notifications is on. To enable Game Invite Notifications in the Gin Rummy App, go to the Settings Screen, tap the Notifications button, and ensure that Game Invites is on.

Your profile may have been reset or changed if you signed out of Apple's Game Center service or signed into Game Center with a different Apple ID. You may have been signed out of Game Center when upgrading to a new version of iOS. To restore your old profile, go to the Settings App, tap the Game Center section title, ensure that Game Center is enabled, and sign in with the Apple ID that you used earlier. When you return to the Gin Rummy App, you should receive a prompt to use your old profile. Send an email to support@outland.com if you need help.
